Choosing the right Dachshund

Choosing the right Dachshund for you is a very important step in the adoption process. The puppy will not only be your pet; he will become a companion and a member of your family.

We want our Dachshunds to be as happy as their new families. It is therefore important for us to make sure that the Dachshund is the breed that suits you and that the chosen puppy matches your personality and your lifestyle. 

 

  • Do you have preferences on sex, color, pattern?

 

  • What kind of personality would you like your puppy to have?

 

  • Do you have children? And if so, how old are they? Have they learned to handle pets?

 

  • Will the new puppy be with other animals?

 

  • Are you often away from home?

 

  • How much time will you be able to devote to your new puppy every day?

Reservation

Once you have chosen the right Dachshund for you and your family, you must contact us for more information. If everything suits you, you will need to leave a deposit. This amount will be deducted from the price of your Dachshund puppy. We always allow a delay of 24 hours for those interested to send the deposit. After this delay, the puppy will be offered to another interested family. Deposits are refundable or transferable to another puppy.

Departure & Collection

Our Dachshund puppies are ready to join their new family between the ages of 8 and 10 weeks. Once they reach this age, they have had the opportunity to build a good immune system, they have been completely socialized and they are potty trained.

We can either arrange a delivery to your home address or a pick up date and time.

Price Of Our Top Quality Dachshunds

Dachshund puppy price: between £1200 and £1500
Retired adult dachshund price: between £600 and £900

The prices of our dachshunds vary according to the color, markings and quality regarding the standards of the breed.

Our puppies are adopted as top quality pets.

* Home/International delivery: transport costs are to be added to the selling price.
* Canadian customers: taxes of your province are to be added to the selling price.

Stock Up On Puppy Supplies

  • Puppy food
  • Stainless steel, dishwasher, safe water bowls and food bowls
  • Puppy treats, including training treats
  • Adjustable collar (since your pup will grow quickly!)
  • ID tags with contact info like phone number
  • Basic leash
  • Long leash for training
  • Potty training pads
  • Poop bags
  • Puppy toothbrush, toothpaste, and dental treats
  • Enzyme cleaner for accidents
  • Anti-chew spray (you’ll want to spray this on the leash!)
  • Grooming supplies (high-quality brush/comb for your puppy’s fur type, plus nail clippers and puppy shampoo)
  • Dog bed and dog crate with ample room to grow
  • Training clicker
  • Baby gate or playpen
  • Blankets (if you live in a colder area)
  • Puppy toys (one each of squeak, plush, puzzle and chew toys, plus the old classic – a ball!)
